Fountains are popular furnitures of public urban spaces. Many of them have ornamental character. The video approaches the possible meaning of this ornamentality. Starting from an end-of-19th century-fountain situated in Dresden the video makes use of found footage in order to elaborate a hidden pattern supposed to be behind its obvious beauty.
