On the 22nd of August 2013, two days before the official opening of the Waldschlösschenbrücke, the road surface markings of this bridge were washed by eight people in white overalls. After a few minutes the action was stoppt by the police. The concept of the intervention based on the issue of ablution which is normally practised for religious purpose. The construction of this bridge is responsible for the loss of the world heritage title of the Dresden Elbe Valley by the UNESCO.
